• Meryl Streep as Miranda Priestly (The Devil Wears Prada) – though she may have played a few couple more roles throughout her years in acting, her role as Miranda Priestly, the seemingly impossible boss of Andrea Sachs (Anne Hathaway) in the movie The Devil Wears Prada, is without a doubt one of her bests. She may not have bagged an Oscar for this role but she did win 3 Academy awards and 2 Emmy awards. This just goes to show that you don’t need a bajillion trophies to prove that you’re an amazing actress.

• Sandra Bullock as Gracie Hart (Miss Congeniality) – the woman who has it all, Sandra Bullock, starred as Gracie Hart, an undercover agent who joined the Miss United Stated pageant, in the comedy movie Miss Congeniality back in 2000. This role has got to be one of Sandra’s best ones and most memorable one yet, aside from the 40+ more other movies she has starred in. in her entire career, Sandra has bagged both Academy awards and Golden Globes awards, affirming her fascinating talent for acting. With such versatile acting skills, it’s no wonder this sweetheart has been chosen to play several different roles in many various movie genres.

• Julia Roberts as Vivian Ward (Pretty Woman) – a pretty woman she definitely is, and a very talented one too! Julia Roberts may have been first known in her breakout movie Mystic Pizza but admit it, when you see her or think about mentioning her, you can’t skip referring to her as ‘pretty woman’. Other roles that Julia Roberts is more popularly known for include Erin Brokovich from the movie Erin Brokovich and her role in the movie Mona Lisa smile where, astoundingly, she was paid $25 million to play the part. Indeed, Ms. Roberts is one of the hottest and most in demand actresses in Hollywood.

• Hilary Swank as Brandon Teena (Boys Don’t Cry)– she just has got to be one of the most dedicated actresses in Hollywood, we all know she is. Hilary Swank’s commitment to acting doesn’t just stop at playing the part but she lets viewers live vicariously through her in the roles she plays. When she is asked to make things happen and to work for a certain role, she makes things happen and work just like when she went through a series of weight gain and loss process to make her role in Boys Don’t Cry more believable. For that, she won Best Actress in the Academy Awards and even bagged another Best Actress Academy Award later on for her role in the movie Million Dollar Baby.
