Ariana Grande is one the hottest young stars today and aside from her talent and her great sense of humor, she’s also known for a lot of things including her unique sense of style and of course, her hair. For quite a long period of time, Ariana was known as the young singer with red hair but her locks have undergone a few changes since then. If you’re looking for hair color ideas for inspiration, check out Ariana Grande’s hair color evolution to inspire your next dye job down below.

  • DARK BROWN – during her YouTube days when she was yet to be discovered, Ari had shiny dark brown hair – no highlights, no lowlights, no colors streaks – just plain old dark brown. This was her hair color before she decided to go red and you’ll see a lot of this color in her earlier photos.

  • BRIGHT FIERY RED – this was the color that Ariana was sporting when she was getting her break in Hollywood. If you used to watch her on the TV show Sam & Cat on Nickelodeon you’ll see Ariana’s hair in this bright, fiery red color and for a while this was the color that she stuck to and was known by. If you’re looking for a hair color that’ll surely make you stand out, why not try this color?

  • LIGHT BLONDE – blonde is another color that Ariana wears on her hair but she does wear several shades of it and light blonde is one of them. Her light blonde hair is almost ashy (but in a good way) and it has highlights and lowlights added in so that it doesn’t look too flat. Speaking of highlights and lowlights, if you’re ever looking for a way to add more depth and dimension to your hair, these are the way to go. They’re also great for when you aren’t ready to commit to a full dye job just yet.

  • CARAMEL BROWN – before she went blonde, though, Ari did have her hair in this gorgeous caramel-y brown color. It had blonde hues for highlights and lowlights and this was one of the colors that, in my personal opinion, really looked great on her. It was a great color and it’s kind of a shame she didn’t keep it for long. I hear she’s back on it recently, though, but with an ombre twist and I wish she’d keep the color on just a tad bit longer.
