Maybelline has been at it once again with some more limited edition color tattoos. The latest release consists of 5 metallic shades. Most of them looked very similar to previous colors, so I chose Iced in Pink which is a cool, shimmery, baby pink with super fine silver specks.
I don’t normally go for really light or cool-toned shades, but with a little work, this product can work on my dark skin.
In the photo below, I used Iced in Pink on the lid, inner corner and lower lash line and MAC’s Saddle to blend and a mixture Embark and Nocturnelle on the outer corner and crease. I used a fluffy synthetic brush to apply the color tattoo instead of my finger to diffuse and soften the color, since it is so light.
As with all the Maybelline Color Tattoos, Iced in Pink lasts all day and I even successfully took a risk by not applying a primer.
Color Tattoos are sold in drugstores for a little less than $8.
