Valentine’s Nails: Stripes + Dots
|February is just flying by isn’t it? In a few days it will be Valentine’s Day so I thought this would be the perfect time to whip out my nail art polish and relieve it from its short vacation.
This design is relatively easy and will just take a little more time than your regular one-color manicure.
If you want to try this look, the steps are really easy.
Paint the entire nail in white and when that is dry, paint a diagonal half in red. I did this freehand but for extra precision, you can use a piece of tape to stencil the shape.
With your nail art brush in white, paint vertical stripes or random spots/hearts in the red section (or you could reverse it by painting red stripes/dots in the white section).
Lastly, paint a layer of topcoat and you’re done!
The polishes I used for this look are: Revlon Red Velvet, Sally Hansen Lavender Cloud and KleanColor White.
