Well now that the year 2013 is about to come to a close, have you thought about what else to do before this year ends? Read a book? Write a poem? Maybe go somewhere overseas? Or why not try something adventurous like go paragliding? Have you considered doing something for yourself fashion- and beauty-wise before this year ends? If you haven’t but you want to, here are some hair trends to try before saying goodbye to 2013:

• Hair chalking– add a fun and funky look to your hair by using hair chalks. These are being sold in malls and all over the internet so acquiring them shouldn’t be a problem for you. Hair chalks are a fun and easy way to bring color to your hair. All you have to do is rub them on and the colors instantly transfer to your hair. It’s a good idea if you want to try funky hair colors but wouldn’t want to be stuck with them for what would seem like an eternity because hair chalks wash easily.

• Blunt bangs – they may seem like such a strong and bold statement, especially if you’ve never tried them before, but blunt bangs could just be your best friend if you’ve got a rather round face. Blunt bangs cover up a good portion of your forehead, usually until right above the brows, which helps make your face look smaller and less round.

• Hair extensions – hair extensions are not a new trend by any means but not everyone has been brave enough to try it. The thing that ‘scares’ people most about hair extensions is that they might end up looking obviously fake but if you get them from a good brand, they’ll most likely blend in well with your hair. Hair extensions are great if you want to do a fancy hairstyle for an upcoming event but haven’t got the time to grow your natural hair.

• Bold streaks – if you’re looking for a way to make your hair more interesting but don’t want to totally change your ‘do or your color, adding bold streaks should be the perfect hair trend for you. A single streak of a bright and unexpected color on your hair will surely have people looking twice.
