Cute Minty Nails Tutorial | Aelida

Hi Lovelies,

Today’s Nail of the Moment is a fresh, minty pastel with a pop of Kaleidoscope fun on the ring finger! Don’t worry, this will be quick! 🙂

If you want to re-create this look, follow some version of the steps below. After applying a base coat, I used Zoya’s Neely over all my nails as the main minty color. Then, with a small nail-art brush, I created random shapes on my ring finger using Maybelline’s Chiffon Chic(pink) and Iced Queen (purple), Wet N Wild’s I Need a Refresh-Mint (darker green) and Revlon’s Buttercup(yellow).

To clean up the lines between the colors, I used KleanColor’s nail striper in White. Once everything was dry, I applied a top coat.

Fairly simple steps right? To create super crisp lines if you don’t have a nail art brush, you can use tape as a guide.

I think this design would also look great with some bright neons but the pastels makes it a little softer and fairly work-appropriate.

As a tiny PSA, according to the word on the street, Google Reader is going kaput TODAY, so if you’d like to continue following my blog (perty pwease?), you can connect with me on Bloglovin and Instagram.  It would mean a lot!

Thanks so much for reading!
