  • Dye them a different color – got an old jacket that you no longer wear because it looks super worn, old and faded? Why not breathe new life into it by dying it another color? You can choose any color that you want or you can do techniques like ombre or tie-dye. Make sure you follow the instructions written on the dye pack for best results. • Add studs and spikes – this one is a really easy thing to do if you’re looking for a way to give an old jacket a makeover and give it a punk rock inspired look. You can choose studs and spikes in any size that you want as long as you’re sure that the fabric your jacket is made out of will be able to hold the added weight. Scatter studs and spikes all over for an abstract look or make patterns with it, the choice is up to you.

  • Add sequins to it – make an ordinary jacket look extra glamorous by sewing in sequin details to it or you can add sequins to specific parts of the jacket like the collar, the cuffs, the sleeves or the collar. You can also go all out and cover the whole jacket in sequins just like the ones celebrities wear to the red carpet. If you don’t know how to sew, you can use fabric glue to attach the sequins on to your jacket. Otherwise, you can sew them on to make sure they’re secure and won’t fall off. Adding sequins to your jacket is also the easiest way to turn it into a party jacket.
