That’s why we here offer a seasonal trend report to benefit our wonderful and stylish readers. This spring of 2016 brings a surge of delightful surprise as we see both wonderfully familiar faces that has been trending for some time now and new faces that were drawn and inspired from the most unexpected of places.

Here are the trending fashion pieces you have to incorporate to your wardrobe this spring.

90s Nostalgia

As we get farther and farther into the 21st century, we get closer and closer to reminiscing the fashion trends at the end of the 20th century. This year, designers are getting fashion inspos from the 90s era. It was an era of mod fashion and loose hip clothes. And they’re all back in a contemporary version of their selves.

Victorian Era

Now this one wasn’t quite predictable to become a trend until around the end of last year when numerous Victorian inspired clothes and pieces popped out in the streets. But then again, we’ve been loving laces, ruffles, and any ribboned pieces after these have been incorporated into usual gothic or grunge looks so it’s bound to happen sooner or later. Now, you’ve seen pussy bow ties, high neck tops and dresses, and either fluffy or flowing skirts that cemented the comeback of Victorian fashion.

Cutout Shoulders

Last year, off shoulder tops and dresses certainly shone out for either casual and carefree look or for the formal and romantic variety. Today, we’re loving the cutout silhouettes that are putting more emphasis on the shoulders, creating this totally romantic look that will go with whatever outfit.

Micro Pleats, Please

Pleats are expanding out of its Preppy Style comfort zone and we’re loving it! You no longer have to worry about looking like a school girl when wearing pleats because it’s getting even more sophisticated and unanimously approved by adult stylish women all over the world. Also, the flimsy effect that the pleats have on skirt, in particular, makes it oh-so wonderful to wear for spring.

Paperbag Waists

Now this is a trend that I’ve been very delighted and excited about for this coming spring. Last year, the limelight was on the flared pants and now paperbag waists! While skinny jeans certainly still have a grip and is still part of the longer trends, it’s clear to all of us that many of the fashion mavens and fashionistas have been thinking of going out of the skinny jeans zone and are coming up with wonderful silhouette inspos for the bottom half of your outfits.

Flat Mules

Mules were totally making a comeback last year and now, we’ve got a more comfy and casual variety with flat mules. It’s a combination of bedroom slippers, mules, and loafers and gives an instant posh-ness to whatever casual outfit you’ll wear.

Half Moon Bag

This bag is a totally chic bag and actually has a very versatile shape. If you’re opting for evening and formal, go for half moon bags that are made of velvet or other textured and generally posh fabrics. Brown leather and canvas, meanwhile, would do great for casual looks.
